Three reasons to get a facial during the winter.

Facials are a great way to pamper your skin, especially when the temperatures drop.

“In the winter the skin becomes dehydrated because it’s dry outside and dry inside with the heat running,” said Kathe Malinowski, lead esthetician and marketing manager for Eterna MedSpa & Laser Vein Center.

The multi-step skin facial treatment includes cleansing, exfoliating and steaming the skin, as well as an extraction to clear clogged pores. Then a mask is applied, followed by a hydrating serum and moisturizer.

Eterna MedSpa & Laser Vein Center offers a variety of facials to target all skin types and concerns.

“And we do monthly specials so watch your email or check out the Eterna website,” Malinowski said.

Eterna’s Brightening Facial is geared for those individuals who have hyperpigmentation, while the anti-aging O² Lift Facial leaves the skin exfoliated, illuminated and oxygenated. The Jan Marini facial incorporates products from the Jan Marini line, and the Teen Facial helps the younger crowd battle breakouts.

In a time crunch? Eterna offers a mini version of its Customized Facial. The quick 30 minute facial includes a deep cleansing, exfoliation, steam, and mask. A moisturizer is then applied.
